Greetings! My name is Rod Koch, Mayor of SSC since 2014. Prior to that I spent 6 years on the City Council and many other boards along the way. I have lived in SSC since 1970, have 6 kids, 7 grand kids and am married to my wife Maria. I attended the University of SD in Vermillion, getting degrees in Political Science and Public Administration. I was formerly the City Administrator of Graettinger, IA and currently work in the insurance industry. I am a passionate Husker fan, in every sport, but especially football and volleyball, with men’s and women’s bb coming in a close third.
