South Sioux City

The City of South Sioux City is seeking a full time Buildings and Grounds caretaker reporting to the Building and Grounds Director.

Necessary job skills include experience with painting, gardening, operating a variety of light equipment, small hand tools and operating a small tractor.  Knowledge of plumbing, heating/cooling, electrical, turf management and carpentry preferred.  Must be able to deal tactfully and courteously with the public.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.  Will need to obtain a CDL and a pesticide license.  Time and training to acquire said licenses will be allowed for selected candidate.  Must be able to work in a variety of climate conditions.
