Community Information

Census 2020: the 2020 census counts every person living in the 50 states, District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories. Each home will receive an invitation to respond to a short questionnaire—online, by phone, or by mail. Every year, billions of dollars in federal funding go to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources based on census data. Participating in the census is required by law, even if you recently completed another survey from the Census Bureau.

Siouxland Bus RoutesAll buses are open to the public, go downtown to the MLK Transportation Center and  are ADA accessible. You may call 712-279-6404 with route questions or concerns.

Nebraska Legal Aid:Legal Aid of Nebraska promotes justice, dignity, hope and self-sufficiency through quality civil legal aid for those who have nowhere else to turn.

Nebraska Unemployment: Claim unemployment benefits, labor market information, find a job fair, U.S. wage estimates, and more. 

Mary Treglia Community House : immigration services, interpretations and translations, education classes, preschool classes, and more. 

Goodwill Industries Wall Street Mission : the wall street mission resources available are computer and internet access, resume/cover letter prep, printing and local faxing, job postings, onsite interviewing tips, and more.

We do not provide or refer for abortions. We do not profit from any of your sexual health or pregnancy decisions. 

Food Bank of Siouxland : listed on the website is the Siouxland area food pantries for those that need assistance.

Siouxland CARES : Siouxland CARES (Community-wide Awareness, Resources, Education and Support) About Substance Abuse is a community coalition comprised of 510 volunteers. The mission of CARES is to improve the quality of life in Siouxland by eliminating the abuse of alcohol and other drugs and related violence.
