Quilting Your Legacy

Nebraska Humanities Council speaker Janie York will be at the Library on Wednesday, October 18, 6:30 p.m., for a presentation entitled "Quilting Your Legacy."  In her presentation, York tells stories about men and women who shaped Nebraska's quilt history by quilting as a form of artistic expression and as a story telling medium in our culture.  She also demonstrates quilting as a method of recording family history.

York's presentation is being held in conjunction with the Library's annual Family Heirloom Quilt Show.
