Understanding Islam

Local scholar Jackson Hawks will present a series of classes on "Understanding Islam" on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., from October 23 through November 2.

 

Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world.  Although it is often mentioned in the news and current events, we still struggle to understand it. These classes will help to bring this ancient faith into focus.

 

Those who attended Hawks' Introduction to World Religions course will want to attend this series of programs on the Islamic faith.   If you have not attended classes before, you will be pleased with the clarity of his presentation.
 
 
Classes are held October 23rd, 26th, 30th, and November 2nd. at 6:30 p.m.
