Event Description:

The South Sioux City Public Library, 2121 Dakota Avenue, will participate in the National Gaming Day program on November 15^th, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

 

The library will invite children of all ages and their parents to join the library staff to play board games, video games and computer games at the library.  The exciting aspect of this is that libraries across the country will participate in a game day at the same time. 

 

Hasbro is donating a copy of its game Pictureka! to every public library branch in the U.S. so that we can set a record for the most number of people playing a board game on the same day.

 

Pictureka is an outrageous, contagious picture hunt.  In this game its finders keepers:  you get the card if you find the objects fast or first.  Collect enough cards and you are the Pictureka! champion.
