Event Description:

The South Sioux City Public Library, 2121 Dakota Avenue, is proud to welcome the Folkloric Ballet Citlali to the City of South Sioux City on Wednesday, Sept 23^rd at 5pm in the main library. They will perform a small dance presentation for the general public. The presentation is free to the public.

 

Folkloric Ballet Citlali from the Autonomous University of Guerrero, Mexico is a group very well known both nationally and internationally having earned awards all over the Americas and Europe.  The State of Guerrero is making this magnificent offer to us as a cultural exchange. 

 

They plan to be here from September 23^rd through September 27^th, 2009.  They have plans for a two hour performance at the Castle on the Hill Auditorium in Sioux City on Saturday evening, September 26^th.  They will also be performing in several schools in the Siouxland area and doing cultural workshops.
