Preserving the Harvest

Renee Swears and Carol Larvick from   extension at Iowa State and the University of Nebraska  will be teaching us the basics of hot water bath canning m pressure     canning  and freezing the veggies from our garden.  We are hoping for some hands-on activities as well.  The class will be in the library meeting room from 12 to 2 p.m. on August 13th.
