Classic Movie and Discussion:  The   Wizard of Oz

The classic movie and discussion for May is the Wizard of Oz, which is based on the novel by L. Frank Baum.  The movie was beset my many casting problems, but is truly a     cultural classic spawning such phrases as "the cowardly lion' and "We're not in Kansas anymore".   The film was a pioneer in the use of Technicolor .  This film may have been handed down to the children, but it is full of interesting discussion topics for adults.
